A short update as it's been a little while. Due to time constraints and slight staffing issues, Gorf: The Movie has been significantly postponed. The original release date was set for Sept/Oct. 2013, but to film the movie properly, we have chosen to extend the shooting schedule through winter 2013/2014 with a new release time of early summer, 2014. We will continue to give you updates as they come in, as we are committed to making this movie, and want to make sure it stays true to the vision we set out on.

Update of different sorts: This is of a bit more personal nature. I write to you not as founder of Deluvian Productions but as a fellow human being with a brother that suffered a setback yesterday. My brother Josh and his family were away from their home when a fire broke out. It was contained but there was fire and smoke damage. This couldn't have come at a worse time as they are only 2 months away from their wedding. Friends and Family are trying to offset the cost to Josh, his wonderful fiancee Jess, and his son Matthew. We have created an 'inlu' page for those that have the means to donate to help offset the cost of repairs and replacements.
Help Offset Josh and Jess's Loss After The Fire
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please, if you can, donate and/or share this page out to as many people as you can before March 31st, as that is when our collection ends. It's for a good cause, and we want to help ensure that Josh, Jess, and Matthew can bounce back quickly so they can get back to living their normal lives, and get back to that wedding!
Thank you,
Matt Gadouas

Deluvian Updates for March -
The Search for Jarod Baron Season 3 has been officially postponed until after the production of the Gorf movie is over. The movie has, as expected and then some, taken up just about all the bandwidth here at Deluvian. To keep things fresh we'll be posting more frequent movie updates for you all. Stay tuned for season 3 of TSfJB this fall!
The Gorf movie has hit a few scheduling snags and production is about 2 months behind. We will try to gain back that ground this spring but here's the bullet points on accomplishments:
-Matt and Abbie have been fitted for their costumes for the characters "Austin and Molly"
-We have secured locations for about 85% of the movie
-We have begun sword training for fight scenes
-We are currently negotiating with 3 different theaters to host the red carpet release this fall
-Caitlin Henck has signed on as our head of costuming
Check back often as we'll do our best to post updates for you all!

First update of the new year. So many things happening at Deluvian. From Gorf updates to finishing writing season 3 of The Search for Jarod Baron, as well as a few other fun new videos. Here's some update:
Gorf:
-We have completed principle photography of 3 scenes so far, the editing process has begun and things are looking very, very promising.
-Next shoot date is February 23rd, we'll be filming the opening scene to the movie
-We have secured a few sponsors for the Gorf movie, including but not limited to McNeill's Brewery from Brattleboro, VT!
-Our cast and crew page is up and running, check it out here!
The Search for Jarod Baron:
-We made an executive decision to move the format from weekly to a monthly series. With the Gorf movie underway, we had to free up some bandwidth
-We will be introducing some new characters into the storyline, as well as take some rather crazy turns in the story itself, stay tuned!!!
Everything Else:
-In March, we'll be filming a fun, month long shoot called, "Matt goes Vegan (For a Month)", it's part of a new series in 2013 where you as the viewers can contact us and have Matt try out different lifestyle choices for a month, our first video will be watching the average guy, with the average diet, switch cold turkey (or should i say tofurkey) to vegan food for a month. It'll be an interesting experiment...
-In May we'll be shooting another month long segment called, "Might Workout with Might Fronz", Mr. Matt Roddy (from such films as 'Mighty Fronz' and 'Fight Scene') will be whipping me into shape with his diet and exercise regiment he follows to maintain his physique for his role as a pro-wrestler.
-Victoria Sebrell will be coming out with a new monthly series, details on that coming soon.
That's about it for now, be sure to check back in often as filming season is open and happening now!!!

Been a while since we've updated over here at Deluvian Productions. Between technical issues, holidays and Gorf scheduling, we've been outright for weeks! Needless to say, here's an update:
Gorf:
2013 shooting schedule is 70% scheduled
Sword props have been acquired
Finalizing designs on Gorf, Molly, and Austin's costumes
80% done locking in location shoots
The Search for Jarod Baron:
We have decided in the 2013 season to move Jarod Baron to a monthly series. This will free up bandwidth to pursue other shows here at Deluvian as well as give us more time to make the videos better quality.
Everything Else:
We are currently working on putting together TEAM GORF, as a Penguin Plunge team for Special Olympics Vermont. We don't know if this will come to fruition or not, but we are pursuing it.
That's about it for now, keep checking back in for new videos and an exciting schedule for 2013!
10/05/2012
Production is officially underway for Gorf: The Movie. We have locked in a bunch of locations for shoots, the script has been read by the cast, and we are booking dates for shooting in the following weeks. Exciting times over here at Deluvian. Check out a word from the cast below:

Gorf pre-production is about to end, and production is about to begin! We have everyone cast. The script is complete, we have begun to lock in locations for shooting the movie. Things are actually right on schedule!
Be sure to check things out in the next few weeks as we post bios of the actors and what roles they will be playing. We'll begin shooting pictures for the Gorf Movie posters to send out to the backers that won that reward. So stay tuned, lots of cool things on the way!

Lots to update you on here at Deluvian. First off, we SUCCESSFULLY reached the minimum bid on kickstarter.com to fund Gorf: The Movie. Thank you to all whom donated. There was a little confusion as to the end date, so a few people missed the deadline. Have no fear. Just click on the DONATE button up above or on the Gorf page to donate to the production. We still have lots of costs, so we are still looking for donations.
Secondly, it was a successful turnout this year at the Brooke Ostrander Memorial Jam. So many talented artists turned out for the event and we filled the place with lots of amazing people. Thank you to all whom participated. We shot a ton of video at the event, we'll have it online mid-September.
Lastly, we have returned from Star Wars Celebration with lots and lots of footage. We'll be editing that video and putting it online in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes open for that!
Ok ok, one more thing. We are shooting the last few episodes of season 2 of "The Search for Jarod Baron". If you want to get in on some of the action, go to out contact page and hit us up, the production value of the last few episodes is being bumped up a little. So it's going to be great!!!

06/11/2012
Its been an amazing past month, lots of filming. We are happy to announce this weekend will mark the return of The Search for Jarod Baron! We are starting off season 2 just right with the 2nd half of the episode we left you on. We are also pleased to say this weekend we will be releasing the Gorf Movie Trailer. We are hosting a red carpet event, invite only, in Burlington on Saturday to commemorate the event.
In other news, a chapter of local music history ends, this Saturday, with the 400th and final Homebrew Show with Gadouas. After an 8 year run on 99.fm The Buzz and online here at Deluvian, Matt has decided to retire the show. Its been a great run, but its time to set it aside to work on other, more ambitious projects. Big thanks to The Buzz and Big Heavy World for being such great supporters, and above all, the local bands that have fueled this show since Day One.
That said, here's to an amazing Summer Season!

Just wanted to share a few new things in the studio that are kind of fun. A few new plug-ins that have been pumping up the quality here at Deluvian.
The Fatso Sr/Jr from Empirical Labs
This if probably by far the most favored new plugin of the studio. From pumping up a drum bus to fattening the entire mix, this Fatso Sr/Jr is amazing. It recreates the warm, musical qualities of magnetic recording tape, tubes, and class A transformers, which can be summed up as the "instant awesome" plugin.

The Neve® 88RS Channel Strip Plug-In
Here's the go to plugin for making each individual drum sound crisp and punchy. This plugin adds the punch to a kick drum or snap to a snare. The strip offering full customization of Gating/Compression/EQ allows for endless possibilities.
You can find songs recorded with these plugins on the Samples page. Most recent samples with these plugins are "I'm Much Better" by Stag Line and "Slap Jam" which was a live improv jam recorded in the studio.
Enjoy!
